Drum Opening

For a production capacity of 360 drums/hour it is recommended to combine two drum opening machines. Different configurations are available, with cutters in parallel or a dual pitch system with cutters in series.

Each system includes a drum opening machine and a drum end removal machine. The drum opening machine or cutter consists of a transport to feed the drum, a lift in the cutting position and two electric driven knifes. Downsteam a pneumatic gripper removes the drum ends from the drum.

These machines oftenly are combiner with a pre-beader and beader in a full drum opening line.
