Closing Ring

This machine is designed for closing the ring, pre-assembled on the drum end. This ring is placed manually onto the (ISO) open head drum, in such a way the lever of the ring is more or less in the same position on the front side of the machine.

A shuttle system will position the drum under the closing unit where a lift will tilt the drum up to the closing unit. The ring is closed with a roller sliding on the lever of the ring. The closing unit is adjustable in height by use of a spindle.

Closing the drums with this machine can be a huge step forward in terms of ergonomics and cycle time. The operator does not need to take a long time to close the ring with a lot of force. The machine does all the work!
